The Bible is made up of 66 books, divided into two main sections:
- The Old Testament, which contains the Jewish scriptures,
- The New Testament, which contains the teachings of Jesus and the early Christian church.
Many people find comfort and inspiration in the words of the Bible, and use verses to guide their daily lives and decisions.
There are many different versions and translations of the Bible, and different Christian denominations may have their own preferred versions.
Hosea 8:7. “For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind”
Matthew 18:5-6 - “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me; but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened round his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.”
Luke 17:1-2 - And he said to his disciples, “Temptations to sin are sure to come; but woe to him by whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung round his neck and he were cast into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.”
Hebrews 10:31 - “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”
Isaiah 2
- “For the Lord of armies will have a day of reckoning
- Against everyone who is arrogant and haughty,
- And against everyone who is lifted up,
- that they may be brought low.
- And the pride of humanity will be humbled
- And the arrogance of people will be brought low;
- And the Lord alone will be exalted on that day,
- And the idols will completely vanish.
- People will go into caves of the rocks
- And into holes in the ground
- Away from the terror of the Lord
- And the splendor of His majesty,
- When He arises to terrify the earth.
- On that day people will throw away their idols of silver and their idols of gold, which they made for themselves to worship,
- In order to go into the clefts of the rocks and the crannies of the cliffs
- Before the terror of the Lord and the splendor of His majesty,
- When He arises to terrify the earth.”
Ecclesiastes 12:14 “For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.”

Romans 2:16 “…their conscience testifying and their thoughts …accusing them, on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of mankind through Christ Jesus.”
