Bible Verses
  • The Bible is made up of 66 books, divided into two main sections:

    • The Old Testament, which contains the Jewish scriptures,
    • The New Testament, which contains the teachings of Jesus and the early Christian church.
  • Many people find comfort and inspiration in the words of the Bible, and use verses to guide their daily lives and decisions.

  • There are many different versions and translations of the Bible, and different Christian denominations may have their own preferred versions.

  • Hosea 8:7. “For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind”

  • Matthew 18:5-6 - “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me; but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone fastened round his neck and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.”

  • Luke 17:1-2 - And he said to his disciples, “Temptations to sin are sure to come; but woe to him by whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung round his neck and he were cast into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.”

  • Hebrews 10:31 - “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”

  • Isaiah 2

    • “For the Lord of armies will have a day of reckoning
    • Against everyone who is arrogant and haughty,
    • And against everyone who is lifted up,
    • that they may be brought low.
    • And the pride of humanity will be humbled
    • And the arrogance of people will be brought low;
    • And the Lord alone will be exalted on that day,
    • And the idols will completely vanish.
    • People will go into caves of the rocks
    • And into holes in the ground
    • Away from the terror of the Lord
    • And the splendor of His majesty,
    • When He arises to terrify the earth.
    • On that day people will throw away their idols of silver and their idols of gold, which they made for themselves to worship,
    • In order to go into the clefts of the rocks and the crannies of the cliffs
    • Before the terror of the Lord and the splendor of His majesty,
    • When He arises to terrify the earth.”
  • Ecclesiastes 12:14 “For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.”

  • Luke 8:17 “For nothing is concealed that will not become evident, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.”

  • Romans 2:16 “…their conscience testifying and their thoughts …accusing them, on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of mankind through Christ Jesus.”
